Float by Flowermouth
'Float' is a new single that flowermouth have put together as a moment to celebrate the band and reconnect with and share music with our fans after a brief hiatus. The idea for the song was to get well outside the box with production and themes and have some fun writing music together once again. We wanted to collectively explore and pay homage to all the genres that have had an impact on our lives.
The track was a demo from our album writing sessions that we re-imagined in an open-minded and experimental process for the band. Pulling from the broadest influences we all share, including hardcore, hiphop, dance and pop music, brought to life with a hard and fast approach to writing and recording this one. The new song features on a special tape release, with a re-recorded / remastered version of Gown on the B-side to celebrate the 5th anniversary of its release.
We love the new song and the process of writing and recording it for this release, we hope everyone else does too!
