In a shift from recent releases, Firehand presents "Scattering Spectrum", an E.P. that dives into more abstracted, textural realms of electronic sound. This collection introduces a nuanced and darker auditory experience, where drama arises from shifting shadows and shards of brightness, akin to visual phenomena that diffuse and refract light.

In this deeply emotional and personal E.P., Firehand employs techniques that emulate the softening of edges and the interplay of radiance and fog, water and land, sky and Earth. Just as memories fold various phenomena into less distinct, evocative clouds of feeling, this five-track collection invites listeners to inhabit ephemeral zones of perception, experiencing sound in a way that mirrors the filtered perspectives of blurred visual and spectral effects.

"Scattering Spectrum" departs from the melodic distinctiveness of former releases but remains potent, capturing the dramatic blending and shifting of smoke and colour within its introspective and weighty soundworlds.

Firehand is Robert Logan, a composer/ producer based in the UK & Hungary.

Under his own name and other aliases he composes soundtracks, produces other artists and has released a number of albums on various labels.

Under 'Firehand' he releases a different kind of ambient music.

The name Firehand refers to an otherworldly experience occurring in 2010 which set this new musical stream in motion.
