Superimposition EP by Felipe Gordon

Felipe Gordon is a Colombian producer based in Bogota. He’s built a track record of pure house productions from the mid-2010s up until now, being Laurent Garnier-supported and releasing records with the most notorious house labels around the globe (Royal Oak, Razor-N-Tape, Toy Tonics, Local Talk, Shall Not Fade, etc.)

His unique sonic touch, intertwining elements of raw analogue sounds from his synth collection and a strong hip-hop sampling background are allowing him to explore and revisit his influences to craft a solid musical signature.

Gordon’s ability to blend complex jazz instrumentation with acid-licked basslines, golden-age house aesthetics and the cultural sounds of South America is unrivalled; creating distinctive, beautiful and exciting house records from his home in the Colombian capital of Bogota.

His music has been reviewed and supported on several prominent media outlets – Vice Magazine, Mixmag, StampTheWax, etc.

He tours the globe in the underground prominent clubs, being supported by a global growing fanbase that is allowing him to sell out all of his physical releases so far.

He delivers his new EP “Superimposition”, released on French label Noire & Blanche in May 2022. An eclectic collection of solid deep house club burners (Ventana Al Tiempo, Inherently Deep), acid breakbeats (Superimposition) and soft afterhours hip-hop downer (Feeling All Over It). A record to keep in the bag to play it out loud in the club, but also to play at home when the sun settles off on long summer evenings.

Based in Colombia’s capital Bogotá, Felipe Gordon is a renaissance man. The producer, multi-instrumentalist, label head and Dj, is nothing short of a phenom, effortlessly fusing complex sound combinations from Jazz samples to flowing pianos and acid bass lines into hugely exciting and unique house records.
