musicdisk01 by Extent of the Jam
This was a long time coming. This OPL3 Musicdisk01 was released for DOS computers in November of last year. But, I wanted to make sure the wave audio version of the album was perfect: I ordered an OPL3LPT, hacked in support for it, and recorded it from that directly into a Focusrite audio interface. What you hear on this disk is a 100% representation of how it sounds on a real Yamaha OPL3 chip, direct from the source. There is no production. No samples. Just raw, unadulterated FM, blasted straight to your eardrum.
