BIO
Born and raised in The Caribbean, Everton Samuel moved to The United States in 1982 to pursue his dream of a successful career as a singer. His unwavering pursuit of that dream has landed him international performances, television appearances, radio interviews and a loyal fanbase who actively follow his performance and music releases. Everton”s musical resume includes his work with Tampa Bay based “Elements Band” and “Open Minds Band”. With whom he sang Reggae, Calypso, Soca, and some popular music. With his powerful vocals and unique style, he became a local phenomena around Tampa Bay. He opened for international artists like The Mighty Sparrow and Eddie Lovette. Everton currently sings lead with New Direction Band based in New Castle Delaware. As a solo artist, his musical blend of Caribbean World and popular music with occasional hints of R&B, Rock, Jazz and Country, is definitely unique, original and mass appealing.He has performed in The Caribbean and Europe. In the year 2000, he performed at the Waltham Stowe Assembly Hall, London, England in a tribute to Jazzy B of the R&B group Soul2Soul. Everton has recorded four albums namely, In Harmony, Sunshine And Laughter, Take A Look Beyond The Obvious and his latest rendition Rootical Love. Work has already begun for a follow up album to be released in 2024. As he says, “You want to accomplish something, you can’t just stand and do nothing, you’e got to take action. When the inspiration comes tome, I move with it” His music is enjoyed by many, from teenagers and young adults, to mature audiences.His song Morning star was licensed by MTV for use on the soundtrack of their weekly tv series “Undressed”. Everton intends to continue writing, recording and performing as long as he is able to with the steadfast goal of enriching, empowering and entertaining his fanbase and all who hear his music
