Fragmentation by Ethereal Suns

Ten years ago I released "The Void Is The Limit" and continued working for a follow up. Sadly the process was slow and I managed to record only 3 tracks for 3 years. There was another piece meant for "The Void Is The Limit", but I wasn't satisfied with it. Same went for 2 more tracks, recorded in 2014. I recorded another one in 2016 and gave up after that. A few years ago I decided to try again by building a concept which of course went through several changes. In 2023 I recorded a new track, remastered one of the old ones and then recorded 4 more. The album includes a 6th piece, which was recorded in 2016.

Here's a short summary of every track.

1. Surviving The Future Of An Unknown Past
- Inspired by a manga I read, which depicts a dystopian post apocalyptic world.
2. A.R.E.T. or Astronomical Reconstruction of Entropy and Transcendence
- The inspiration for this came from a friend, who at this point was on a threshold in her life, followed by her personal unorthodox and metaphysical way of viewing the world.
3. The Desert Beyond The Wall
- The track was recorded in 2014 and remastered in 2023. It was influenced by
Arthur Clarke's "The City And The Stars".
4. Inside The Derelict Spaceship
- Inspired by a dream I had, where I was exploring a massive dead spaceship, floating in empty space. It was so huge, that I was flying through it's tunnels via a small spaceship.
5. The Last Time Traveller
- Another concept of being alone. Nothing more to say about it.
6. Tears From The Stars
- It was recorded in 2016, after a hard moment in my life.

Side project of Iksrog from Forest Troll and Via:Pontica

The project started in 2007 under a different name. Several tracks were recorded but with primitive tools and low quality. In 2014 the concept was refined and the first album was recorded. Several more tracks were recorded between 2016 and 2018 but did not manage to complete a concept. Work is still in progress.
