Backwaters by wrong step

after the self-titled album, where Wrong Step experimented with synths and effects, or This is what we do...'s distorted and looped motifs, comes Backwaters. a shorter, but much more cohesive project. featuring everything the past projects have taught him, Backwaters is highly atmospheric with delayed and shifting guitars and synths, with plenty of samples that are meddled with to the point of sounding completely different, alongside short loops of guitar, keys, sfx, and some drums. with all this considered, Backwaters is showing-up to be Wrong Step's most intriguing and masterful project yet.
