Self-Titled by Endrey
Endrey is the self-titled sophomore album of prolific experimental pop artist, Chris Endrey
The core of this work was recorded in a two-week intensive at the world-class Supersize Recording Studios of Törökbálint in rural Hungary with longtime producer friend Louis Montgomery and Hungarian folk hero, Császári Gergely
This was then augmented across years with collaboration with 30+ artists in Canberra, Australia. This notably includes features from Kojo Ansah (Citizen Kay), singer Hannah Beasley (PAINTonPAINT), violinist Chloe Sinclair, cellist Helen way, saxophonist Tom Duck, and the outstanding members of Endrey's band, Clarke Finn, Jess High and Tristan Davies.
The culmination is a masterful final work that is a reflective self-portrait of an artist obsessed with the potential for a richer world of closer communities, better intimate relationships and compassion for people who are different from ourselves
