EP 1
Our typical recording process is to improvise together in the studio and selectively edit and mix, but we almost never overdub. With this recording we took a more call-and-response approach. One of us would begin a track, get it the way they want it, then the other would overdub their improvisation. On occasion creative editing was applied to shape the track, cutting out what doesn't work and shifting what does into its rightful place, then polish it. This EP is the result!
This recording was prodded into existence by David Jeffries of Ziggy's in Ypsilanti. In a conversation with Damon, he posited the idea of selling band curated six packs of beer and include a free album download code from the band in each one.
