Forgiven is a new song by sp84 and Emily Zuzik. Forgiven combines the power of synthpop and 80s smooth r'n'b rhythmics, with funky guitar and hypnotic sax. It results in a deep and cerebral emotional journey through your emotion.
The story behind Forgiven is one about the sadness of wondering if you did someone wrong and never had the chance to make it right. There was a relationship that didn't work out. And the narrator seems to be having flashbacks about that time with regret. It's those little moments when you're alone or awake in the middle of the night and you wonder 'Does this other person carry ill will toward me? Have they let go of their resentments? Is whatever I've done to them forgiven in their mind?'
