A sonata for sax quartet inspired by a fictional character that's totally not from a romantic visual novel or anything, heheh. The primary theme aims to capture the swashbuckling and theatrical front the character displays to the world, but the secondary theme paints this character in a sweeter, more vulnerable light. The development section follows this character with their love interest through the many wonderful adventures they embark on together, eventually returning to the original themes with a declaration of resolve, love, and overall cheesy romantic tropes. <3

Ellis Pierce (they/them) is a composer based in Erie, Pennsylvania, who makes music inspired by the video games and films they loved growing up. You can usually find them playing Pokemon, crying over fictional characters, or cuddling their cat.
