Wet, wild tree climber
sliding down to face me
On your hands and knees
Gleaming eyes, and all the other eyes I thought were yours

Filling up the night sky
So I took a deep breath
Don’t ask me why
With all my limbs forgotten

I thought that you were Something Else
Now I’m all chewed up by your nonsense mouth

I saw you
Kissed your face
Felt the tears come streaming loosely
Dark winged body snatcher
Held me down, embraced me
Looking past my plans
