this EP is audible script - 'phonoglyphs'

in 1444, the korean script was invented by king sejong, with the help of buddhist monks with knowledge of sanskrit and devanagari. the preface to the book outlining the 28 new characters of the Korean script has 108 syllables (a sacred number in mahāyāna buddhism). sejong commissioned the song of the moon reflected on a thousand rivers to show off his new creation in 1447.
