Originally released on the CD compilation The Door on the Alta Sounds / Codemist label from UK 2002. Based on recordings of a door which are granulated in CSound.
Started 1996 first as a sideproject of Malte Steiners industrial outfit Notstandskomitee, it quickly got a life on its own. Like Steiners earlier electronic ventures in the 80s its more experimental and closely connected to the visual arts. Mostly created with software like Csound, Max/MSP and Pure Data, processing field recordings and synthesizing sounds.
