Itchy Throat by Edgy Palates
Edgy Palates is a trio of Lithuanian composers consisting of Dainora Aleksaitė, Jūra Elena Šedytė, and Ieva Parnarauskaitė. Together, they explore the intersection of experimental vocal music, electroacoustic music, and sound poetry.
Their debut album, 'Itchy Throat', showcases the unique styles and strengths of each of the three composers, featuring two pieces from each. Through an emphasis on extended vocal techniques, they seek to discover the unique possibilities of the human voice and push the boundaries of musical expression.
