Entropy by Dylan Rodrigue
This album is dedicated to my father, Richard Rodrigue (Oct 19, 1955-August 28, 2019). He was one of the kindest, smartest, most thoughtful and generous people I've ever known.
All of the songs (apart from Bicardi and Coke) were written in the month surrounding his death. Drums, bass, guitar and vocals were all recorded live in one day, Jan 2020. Certain minimal overdubs were added in the following couple weeks. This record wouldn't have happened if it weren't for Julian Nicholson pushing me to record during what was the hardest period of time in my life. All in all, I am so glad and grateful that he did. So much gratitude to everyone who played/sang/contributed to this record and Ian Lipson for taking on the incredible task of mixing the beast.
