Derek Samuelson started doing digital recording on his school laptop in 2003. He did record with a handheld Edirol field recorder in 2006. When he moved to Arizona in January 2008, he had both of these files. Then he went walking around LA and Austin, and when he got out of the hospital in Omaha, he got the Zoom HD-8. He moved back to Arizona in November 2008 and got to work on the Horrigin Shows 1 & 2 albums. This song Survivex is the best example of Derek's Ariel. It's got the electric guitar work and yell-modeling. Derek was thinking of Go Acapulco from Scared Famous. It was Tucson 2009 and Tucson was given a boy from Boston.
This weekend, Derek Samuelson made new tracks: 1, 2, and 4-14. These tracks have vocals (Sure dynamic mic), guitar (Yamaha APX-600), and keyboard (Casio CTK-2550).
