French dubber F continues his experiments in cross-breeding dub-techno and dubstep with the debut release on Headhunter's Transistor imprint.

While many have attempted this sound over the last 18 months, few have come close to merging the two as successfully as these producers, skillfully breaking down dubstep's sometimes rigid flex with tightly wound double-time syncopations and bouncing dub chords. On 'Night Drive' F provides one of his finest rhythms to date with expansive dub chords and gear slipping hi-end percussion.

On 'Dedale' F hooks up with Headhunter to concentrate on pressurised subbass and sci-fi synth stabs in a minimal rollers style that fans of Peverelist or Ramadanman should be checking. Wicked!
