Closure (single) by Drifting Sun

As 2018 slowly tails off on this rainy December day, I am putting pen to virtual paper to let go of a most painful year.

Today I wish to send across a message of love - for the kindness of a few who keep our hearts warm; but also to those who have harmed us, because it is an opportunity to grow into stronger and wiser individuals on the path of our lives.

We are not perfect by any means, and often we want to reach the stars, only to realize that our arms are too short, as a painful reminder that in the end we cannot be more than what we are…

I am sharing this melody I just wrote called ‘closure’ - closure for all things lost… and as I am shedding bittersweet tears penning these words, I find solace in the knowledge that these are tears of hope for the better times that lie ahead.

Loneliness may mean that you have no one to give your heart to, but it does also mean that you do have a heart, and once you have learned to cast yourself away from what or who doesn’t nourish your soul, you are well on the way to filling your heart with the happiness you deserve again.
