Ambi-Edits by Dreems
One of my first foray's in to 'proper' ambient music was a chance encounter through the discovery of Cluster & Eno's eponymous album. It scored many 'post-club' moments in my life and slowly crept it's way in to my top-ten album's of all-time. It opened many doors from there in threw fourth-worlds and fifth-dimensions - both musically and psychologically.
When I first starting Djing as 'Dreems' i used to try my hardest to bring the ambience back to the party, even if for a short moment. Needless to say this wasn't one of the greatest successes in my dance-floor lessons. So i decided I still wan ted to bring the feeling of some of these musics in through the 'back-door' per se (The back-door being a kick drum....)
So here you have it - a couple of 'classic ambient masterpieces' given the dance-edit treatment. Oxymoronic edits if you will.
