Interstellar Kiosk by Dreams in Infrared
In 2024, Rory Glass wandered into a charity shop in Cheadle to escape the cold. There, half-buried beneath obsolete tech and board games, he found a Yamaha PSR-6 keyboard from the late 1980s.
He didn’t recognize the model — but he recognized the feeling.
Interstellar Kiosk is the debut release from Dreams in Infrared — a project shaped by fragmentation and reassembly. Rory unearthed songs he wrote as a teenager and reimagined them using decaying loops, ambient textures, and plastic synth tones, filtering them through the imagined style of Ryden Nova, a fictional sci-fi rock star whose music he once dreamed.
It’s music for flickering monitors, roadside kiosks on distant moons, and memories that never quite existed.
