Courier by Downscope

Courier is the third of a font themed series of dub/ambient techno works. Spacious drone synth textures, muted melody loops with minimal percussion and soft kick leads.
Fonts dictate moods, tone and exude outward impressionistic expression beyond the text of language itself. Though fonts are often chosen for the sake of style they generate a subtext that's often subconscious though sometimes blatantly intentional. As with most outward appearances there is something deeper within, behind the facade. With this series my goal is to have such intricate and subtle elements portrayed audibly.
