Born in Decatur, Georgia, Taj DeVon Christophe began to listen to such artists as Outkast, Biggie, 2pac, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, and Wiz Khalifa who all had a major impact on his art today. Taj took on the persona "Dolo" because it fits his loner nature. Dolo's music reflects the conflict between the dark and light within himself and the struggles he and the people around him face.
