in this place at this time
we exist in a mystery
where each breath is a victory
where the culmination of history
and her story coincide
right now this moment in time

it exists in the words
expressed here in verse
i wonder why we're all trained
to consider death as a curse

as if it werent part and parcel with birth
its this fear thats got us
that much easier to heard

lets confront it
its clear we dont get much from running
here we are standing
right in front of it

push the doors of perception
past the boors and their deceptions
this is the last chance we have
to abort our oppression

collective memories
collected when we draw and paint it

intensive energy

we are the basic element of inspiration
relevent to where we take it
