Label co-head DJ Pitch returns for his third All Centre release, bringing a double header of club-ready tracks.
Starting things slow on Scared, ethereal, time-stretched vocals are underlined with compelling dancehall-inspired rhythms. The track breaks down amongst floating pads before sudden digital interference gives way to a sliding bassline and storming percussion. Subtle, whispered vocal snippets weave amongst the frequencies as chords re-emerge and dissipate, driven forward by momentous rhythms.
Next up, Coffee Time! kicks things off in a stripped-down breakbeat groove. Warbling, pitch-shifted voices struggle to surface amongst the broken percussion before bursting through alongside super-low, hard-hitting subs. As the track breaks down a second voice emerges, forming an artificial choir, before Pitch switches up again with the introduction of an oscillating
garage-inspired bassline.
Scared is available across all platforms on the 23rd of September.
