I wrote it for my mum when she fell off a ladder and broke her pelvis in 3 places, and was in hospital and then in a wheelchair for a time.
It’s a song for healing and a song of gratitude, for all the things my mum’s done for me and everything’s she’s brought into my orbit since I came to earth : nonsense poetry, shelter, greens from her allotment…
