Produced by Dutch heavyweight Nymfo and with flowanastasia’s raw and dulcet vocals, "River Flows" has a melancholic vibe, with elements reminiscent of trip hop and spoken word poetry. You might feel like you’re in a smoky jazz club while listening to it.
You may know flowanastasia as the featured vocalist on many DnB tracks, including collaborations with Enei, GLXY, and Telomic, and releases on labels like RAM, Critical, Viper, Shogun, and Liquicity. She’s been writing and recording topline vocals for almost a decade, primarily under her previous artist name “Anastasia”, which was changed to “flowanastasia” in 2021.
Now, she’s embarking to release her debut album Face Yourself EP, the first collection of music under her direct creative control. "River Flows" is the second advance single from her album. It features custom artwork from illustrator Vytautas Bikauskas, and was created with the support of the City of Toronto through Toronto Arts Council.
