It’s dawn again. Panic’s car is out of gas, and she’s been on foot for a while. She’s tired and badly sprained from walking around and over debris, dodging and fighting zombies, and carrying around her supplies and her weapons at the same time. Her childhood home is finally on the horizon and she’s hobbling towards it, trying to reach the front door. She’s screaming to be let in while using every ounce of her strength to fight the zombies blocking her way. She sees something moving behind one of the windows and she’s not sure if it’s a zombie or if it’s her boyfriend. She goes weak at the thought of having fought her way here for nothing. She faints and just as her vision blurs, she sees the front door open.
