Sonic Dissolution by Various Artists

'Sonic Dissolution' is Dead Hound's first ever compilation. In the summer of 2019, the label put out a call for artists to contribute tracks which utilised 'noise' in some way (be it tape hiss, distortion, extreme electronics, field recordings, etc) - this wildly varied C90 is result. From bedroom pop to full-on harsh noise, the artists featured are all equal parts innovative, disturbing, and sonically destructive.

Featuring artists from here in Edinburgh, as well as from as far afield as Perth, Australia and Baltimore, US. If you enjoy their contributions here, please check out their wider discographies, go to their gigs, get in contact, spread the love.

This compilation is free to download, but please note that all donations and tape sales will directly help Dead Hound to keep supporting underground artists by releasing physical music and running events!
