Sensoria by David Nettleton
David was a fascinating man that was very sadly taken from this earth far too early.
A fiercely creative and independent spirit .
His musical taste was deep and varied, from folk to moody electronica to dub and soul.
The father to two girls and a North Londoner hailing from Tottenham, he grew up on the streets of Hackney with the sounds of Reggae and Soul never far away.
David loved his neighbourhood and it's people but was tormented to see the effects that gentrification was having .
He was a kind man with a wicked sense of humour, not one to mince his words, he had friends of all ages and from all walks of life ,he was a caring and sincere soul .
An accomplished guitar player, composer and poet, his stylings were heartfelt and experimental.
In the studio he was very focused, prepared and knew exactly what he wanted to create, the players on the album enjoyed playing with him and he was always thankful of their creativity.
We are very proud to finally release this body of work to the world and to leave a lasting legacy of this very special man who was a good friend to many.
