There was movement
at the firestation
for the word had got around
that with regret the buffalo had escaped
When the buffalo come
come down into King Street
when the Newtown folk
and the buffalo meet
It's a sign, a taste
of things to come
as we spin into
our plunging sun
Well we come down south
for some movie work
thougt we'd break on through
have a look around
at the tatoooed girls
catch some urban sounds
Then the sirens call
and the choppers whirl
(get my agent on the phone

There are no paddy fields
in Camperdown
nothing much for a buffalo to do
and that King Street strip
It's a consumer zoo
When we get back north
got some tales to tell
how a film star's world
is a buffalo's hell
