Piha is surf spot in New Zealand about 80 kilometers west of Surfdale, located in the far north of New Zealand on the Tasman Sea coast. It was the place where in 1958 two American surfers introduced faster 2 meter boards instead of the traditional 4-6 meter Malibu long boards and by doing so laid the basis for modern short board riding. Because of the historical context Piha is the shortest song on this release and displays a raw and exciting edge. The tune was written on November 1, 2016.

Danny Ramirez is a singer-songwriter from the Netherlands and the guitar player for stonerdoom band Toner Low!
