Curiosity Cabinet by Damon Waitkus

An ongoing project: making music from extremely limited sound sources (plastic junk, wine glasses, and rubber bands respectively in these first three). Although I've stuck to object-types up to now, any restriction, no matter how capricious or ridiculous, could apply, like, say, "stairwells," "orange things," or "causes of unhappiness." Like the Cabinets Of Curiosity that were popular among Europeans with means in the Renaissance, it's not exactly anthropology, not exactly natural history, not exactly grotestque, but a bit of all of these.
