We all want attention. There are good and bad ways people try to get it.
This song is about someone I knew who would often harm herself. It was always maddening for me to hear someone say that she was doing it "for attention". So I wrote this.
Self harm is a serious issue. One that's not mean to be taken lightly, mad fun of, or glorified.
