Keep Smiling by Dali Amadeus
The debut album Keep Smiling features collaborations with notable artists including San Jose native Rey Resurreccion, who is the producer behind the entire project.
“It all started when I tapped in with Rey for a couple of beats. I copped a couple more, and next thing you know bro [Rey] said, ‘let’s just collab on a project.’ I was more than happy to and honestly, Keep Smiling, just flowed together smoothly while working together even though we were on opposite coasts at the time.” The eclectic collection is also set to showcase features from Bay Area Rap music pioneer Equipto and Hawaii's very own Jim Hurdle.
Keep Smiling feels like a walk down memory lane with subject matter pulled from “lessons lived” experiences. The cultural influence of hip-hop’s past intertwined with the backdrop vibe of the weekend makes this album a nostalgic anthology. Keep Smiling shows why storytelling is still a fundamental art form to be appreciated from westcoast San Jose artist, Dali Amadeus. .
