Tangles by Daddy's Beemer
Tangles is the second full length album from American rock band Daddy's Beemer. The 10 tracks, clocking in at just under half an hour, display a raw musicianship and performance from the band recorded for the very first time. Brady Sklar shows growth in the two years since Denmark with more focused and precise songwriting while Wesley Heaton dials in bass lines and tone amidst lineup changes within the group. With the new addition of Payton Kutyla on drums and the shift of multi-instrumentalist Dan Fetterolf to guitar full-time, Daddy's Beemer finds itself in peak performance. Tangles focuses on new starts and waking up. Glowing images of love and travel are juxta positioned against heavy feelings of wanting to go home vs wanting it all. Dynamic energy weaves and flows through each track and leaves the listener hitting repeat after each playthrough.
