Her white scales are spikey, antennas so long!
Yellow wings, heart-shaped face
stares at him with purple eyes

She was the most beautiful thing he had seen
A mantis so powerful and yet so lean!
As if she came right from his dream
An alien queen!

Our hero is going mad!
How long was it since he ate??
Now he has started to hallucinate

He throws himself mindlessly out in space
A meteor’s coming in a rapid pace
It’s flying towards him and almost hits him in the face!
