This song uses chopped up guitar recordings I made when sat alone late the night before my daughter was born. I had been send home from the hospital to wait, but couldn't rest. I also couldn't focus on turning on all my gear or properly writing. However, I still wanted to capture that unique moment of nervous and excited anticipation. So I grabbed my phone and recorded whatever came out on my acoustic guitar.
I later chopped these recordings up, processed some hits for percussion and created a song to help remember that moment forever.
