Timeless Sky by Astropilot & Crows Labyrinth
Crows Labyrinth teamed up with ambient powerhouse Astropilot to record an album, featuring an amalgamation of ambient drones and soundscapes, with a touch of psychedelic guitars.
The heart of the album lies in four immersive ambient compositions. Each artist crafted two pieces, which were then exchanged and built upon by the other. The resulting tracks are a harmonious blend of their signature styles, while also offering new flavors for the fans and listeners to enjoy.
Complementing the four new tracks are three extended remixes, each one a slowed-down exploration of the original compositions.
About Astropilot:
Astropilot, the alias of composer Dmitriy Redko, crafts soundscapes that drift between deep space ambience and progressive chillout. Since 2000, Redko's music has taken listeners on interstellar journeys, with compositions even featured in popular astronomy apps.
About Crows Labyrinth:
Crows Labyrinth is an ambient project, conceived by Theo Tol from the Netherlands. The aim of the project is to create ambient cinematic soundscapes. Originally by using solely bass guitars and effects processing. Lately also by using other sound sources like synths, piano, field recordings and generative systems. The soundscapes preferably have to be created in one take, one improvisation, one flow of sound.
Crows Labyrinth is inspired by many artists. These names are a small selection: Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, Tangerine Dream, Steven Wilson (with his Bass Communion and I.E.M. projects), Tom Heasley, Loscil, Clem Leek.
