This is a four-part continuous suite of music written for my brother, a landscape artist who paints big pictures and lived at the time on the windswept Outer Hebrides.

I've been composing and playing music professionally for over 40 years - in bands, as a soloist and for soundtracks for theatre productions. These recordings were all made in more primitive times, between 1982 and 1995. My main instruments are guitars - electric, acoustic, bass - but I take on anything that gets me the sound I'm looking for. I'm based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
