Forgotten Snow by Cloudland Blue Quartet & Robert Scott Thompson
This album started with an email received out of the blue at the start of the year from RST - he'd noted my love of all things Eno, Roxy, Fripp etc and suggested we might collaborate...
And so I produced a demo of a crossover piece between RST's "Kilwaughter's Forgotten Dreams" and my own "Snow at Louveciennes (1878)" from "Disquietmusik VIII"...

Immediately upon listening RST expressed his enthusiasm for it to be released...
So I did the "proper" mix of the tracks and and sent them to RST in Atlanta. He then mastered them and sent them back...
Third and fourth parts were created by playing the CBQ independent masters of Parts 1 & 2, backwards...
We have since worked on a further LP, "Forest Ascent", which will be released later this year...
In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy these first fruits of our transatlantic collaboration...
