This album shines a light on the songwriting and vocal talents of an artist long known as a jazz saxophonist, more recently a jazz drummer, and now finally going public with her lifelong love of singing and well-crafted songs. These original songs tell a very personal narrative, and fall most accurately under the category of "singer-songwriter jazz."
