Lyrics
I’m going to the Broccoli Farm.
I’m going to the Broccoli Farm.
You can’t distract me. It’s a fact.
I’m going to the Broccoli Farm.
I was walking down the street one day
On my way to the Broccoli Farm again.
Around the corner came a big brass band,
And the guy with the Seussophone stuck out his hand.
He said: “Come with us and join the big parade.
We need somebody to lead the way.
You can walk out front and twirl this baton.”
But I said: “Sorry Sir, I’m going to the Broccoli Farm.”
I’m going to the Broccoli Farm.
I’m going to the Broccoli Farm.
You can’t distract me. It’s a fact.
I’m going to the Broccoli Farm.
The next guy I met was a painted clown.
He said: “I’m from the circus. We just rolled into town.
We’re just setting up the circus tent.
There’s acrobats and ponies, and an elephant.
You’ve got to see the crazy dancing monkeys
And the beautiful girl on the swinging trapeze.
I’ll leave a ticket for you at the gate.”
But I said: “Sorry Sir, the Broccoli awaits.”
I’m going to the Broccoli Farm.
I’m going to the Broccoli Farm.
You can’t distract me. It’s a fact.
I’m going to the Broccoli Farm.
As I continued along, on and on,
All kinds of people tried to steer me wrong:
A lady with seven little puppies on a leash,
A cotton candy unicorn with marshmallow teeth,
A rollercoaster ride in a dinosaur park,
A zipline waterslide that glows in the dark.
Someone even offered me some brussel sprouts.
But I said: “Eww gross! You’ve got to get out!”
