Edges become gradients

We hold each other through canopies of light and vines
Into carnival mirrors
Into nightclubs that fill up the sky

Last night internet showed you a meteor
For a moment belief falters
Pearls and sand a pieces of granite flung from the radiant
On one side it’s a line
On the other side it’s the rolling tide
