The switch is flipped, it’s back to one …

Yeah when I came to it was all I could do
To curl up and sleep the day away
There was something inside hitched along for the ride
And made a home inside my matter gray
It slipped into my mind through the gristle and the grime

There were stitches in my head and blood on the bed
What happened? I have no memory
It took a while to realize that I was looking through my eyes
But my body was acting autonomously
I tried to scream by my voice was like a dream
Whose echo returns subconsciously

It said I’m never going to get away …

I don’t know why this is happening
I was just sailing the shores at the end of space-time
But now I can see all the energy flowing
On gossamer threads from the ground up to the skies

And it won’t let go, no it won’t let go
It latches on and shows you all the lies
And when it says go, you go
And when it says no, you know
That any moment you can be detemporalized
Because if it were to pull back the veil
And reveal that we’re all living in hell
How long would it take for you to lose your mind?
So just sit back and secede from life willingly
And become part of a world you so despise

And they listen to our cries on their solid gold stereos
And they watch us tear each other apart on real time videos
You see were all just fodder for their award-winning TV shows
Because they systematically removed our ability to say no
