Changes from Tamburello by Chris Bicknell
I wrote Changes in 2007 long before I started gigging again. As a result it was some what of a forgotten favourite. I have dusted it off a few times over the past twelve months and this performance was at The Silk Kite in Tamworth. A few people have asked me over the last few months what the song is about as it appears to have deep and meaningful lyrics. Weirdly, there isn't one. This was simply a case of finding a chord progression that worked and writing some lyrics over the top. I think the title (which is a title I've wanted to use for a long time) guided the rest of the song writing process.
Chris Bicknell is a singer-songwriter from Birmingham. He has been writing songs and performing them since he was 15 years old. Chris regularly gigs all over the Midlands and has, to date, released four albums and an EP.
