Singularity Drones by Chris Anderson

There is a pending release of a "less chaotic" album coming up. In the meantime, though, I wanted to provide a preview of part of one song (minus any Stick leads), while providing slices of what some of the accompanying Stick textures and lead lines might sound like.

Something that has been on my mind (here in July 2025) is AI and the supposedly imminent "singularity". I take these predictions and whatnot with a grain of salt, but it does make for a good idea to contemplate alongside drone listening.

Musically, this album is getting closer to an overall sound I am trying to achieve. I've hiked down a long path from learning the Chapman Stick, to dabbling with virtual synths, realizing that I could maybe play ambient music decently, and finally jumping to collect effects and an effects rig of sorts (the Line 6 Helix). Add on top of that, a cleaner and better-produced sound, and things have come a long way since.....June 2025! What this release doesn't have is the incorporation of synths and Stick, together, but that is coming.
