The Cheebacabra is the recording project of Seattle-based producer Paul Cheever (aka Cheeba). At 18 years old, Cheever was pulled into the inner circle of the legendary Dust Brothers production team who redefined the art of sampling with artists such as Beck and Beastie Boys. After three years with them, Cheever began to focus on his own music. The first Cheebacabra album was released in 2003.
