Following the successful release of the 4-track album Truncate Mastadon the Dragon Wilson, Cholo Curls is an engaging blend of the avante-garde, electroacoustic, jazz sound that Secret Sidewalk has become known for.
Secret Sidewalk is on the forefront of live electronic music performance with shows such as their brain child, “Smart Bomb”, the most forward- thinking live and electronic showcase in the Bay Area. Co Produced by Mophono, and recorded live at Circuit Studios San Francisco, this live experimental interplay is vivid in the dynamic composition of the B side Bibingka
Secret Sidewalk regularly performs live at events like the classic “Change the Beat” night (thrown by Mophono, Citizen Ten, and The Gaslamp Killer), Low End Theory (Los Angeles and San Francisco), South by Southwest (Grown Kids Radio SXSW Showcase), SF Offsides, San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, and Oakland’s 2nd Annual Hiero Day.
