Shimmer
A whisper in the still of night
A fleeting glow, a glimmer near.
A silver thread of soft moonlight,
It dances on the surface clear,
Not bright enough to steal the show,
But soft enough to let it glow,
It lingers in the in-between,
A quiet, radiant, gentle sheen.
